This gorgeous family came into the studio with their brand new little girl, and it was plain to see that they were head-over-heels in love with her.  I remember that amazing feeling of starting this new stage of life as a parent…. and I do miss it. I miss the excitement of finally holding the baby that had been growing inside of me for nine months. I remember the anticipation of him growing, learning new things, perhaps even looking at me and giving me a smile. I remember the sleepless nights, the frustration of not being able to help his discomforts.  All of it was wrapped up in the most beautiful package: motherhood. And through ups and downs, tears and smiles, motherhood has evolved into an amazing journey that captivates every fiber of my being. It tugs at the innermost parts of my heart, and demands every moment of my time. This journey of raising kids.  Honestly, I could have done other things with my life. I could have had a career as a PA. I could have traveled the world. I could have been a famous photographer (lol), but instead I give of myself daily to my kids. And I don’t regret it for even one second, because to me there is nothing as rewarding, nothing as fulfilling and nothing as beautiful as being a mom.

And this is what these sweet new parents have to look forward to.  Of course, it helps that God gave them the most adorable little girl to raise. She is such a little angel! …well, except for a few accidents, one of which was on Dad as we were trying to take a picture. Check out dad’s expressions (last photos down)- they’re priceless!
