It’s official. My little guy, as of today, is no longer a baby. I have loved loved loved the baby stage. The freshness of a newborn, the wonder of a baby, the exporing of a toddler. And now we’re moving on to the little man stage. This stage brings with it endless conversations about bugs, mud puddles and cars. It brings with it “I love you’s” that are not prompted, but offered up freely. It brings with it a window into the soul that was there all along, and that I am now starting to discover more and more every day. Well, now that I think about it, as much as I loved the early stages, this one isn’t so bad either. Happy Birthday, little man! Grow up strong and brave!
