Charli came in for her newborn session in Tualatin wide awake and ready to look around the bright white place she found herself in. I worked my magic sleepy baby formulas on her and did get some sleeping shots, but really she just wanted to be in Mom’s arms. That was her happy place. Every session is different, every baby is different, and sometimes Baby doesn’t sleep the entire duration. But what I’ve seen is that every baby is happy in their mother’s arms. These photographs are my favorite. A mother looking into the eyes of the one that will some day be her best friend. A baby looking into the eyes of the person she trusts most. What a special bond! These interactions make for the best images and some of the best memories of those first days of motherhood.

Your session with Cadeau Photography begins with a styling consultation where you can choose what to wear for your session from the curated studio wardrobe. During summer months you can choose from a studio or sunset field photoshoot. During the winter months our cozy in-home studio, which you can tour HERE, is the perfect setting for your maternity, newborn, sitter, one year, or other milestone session. During our ordering appointment I will guide you through my menu of heirloom artwork, which also includes digital images.
